Description:Proton pump inhibitor called Nexium is used to treat acid reflux, heartburn, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), also known as stomach acid-suppressing drugs, are used to lower the frequency of stomach acid secretion, reduce symptoms of GERD, and lower the severity and frequency of reflux disease (a potentially life-threatening medical condition).Note:The is an alternative medication by name for " gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)".Do not take Nexium if you are allergic to Nexium, Prilosec, or any of its ingredients
Warnings:Do not use Nexium if you are taking or have recently taken ritonavir:
Contraindications:Do not use Nexium if you are not at increased risk of cardiovascular events or have a known hypersensitivity to ritonavir or to any of the excipients used with this medication. Do not use this medication if you are also a woman who is pregnant or breastfeeding, a man who is planning pregnancy or who is taking hormonal contraceptives, are taking a medication that may reduce the effectiveness of ritonavir, or if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.

Before taking this medication:
Nexium Control 20mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets treats heartburn and acid reflux. They are suitable for short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults, aged 18 or over.
Caution: Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
How to use:
